LG Will Showcase Latest Mobile Camera Module at CES 2023 Las Vegas

In 2023, LG plans to showcase the latest technology for their cellphone camera modules. This electronics company will do this at the 2023 Consumer Electronic Show (CES).

This telephoto camera module will be produced by LG Innotek, which is part of the company group. Meanwhile, the sophistication of this latest camera feature can be obtained via cellphone at CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, United States.

tafansa.id quoted Android Police and XDA-Developer on Thursday (29/12/22), that this event will last for four days, namely January 5-8.

But unfortunately, there is not much information about LG's latest telephoto camera. However, the module embedded in this cellphone is predicted to have an optical zoom capability ranging from four to nine times.

So, the LG cellphone series that has the latest camera features can choose the camera zoom feature that you want to optimize to that number range. This sophistication is suitable to support many user activities that involve the camera.

Apart from zoom capabilities, this latest LG series camera module is also equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) technology.

So, you don't need to worry about the quality of the resulting image because the photos will remain clear and of high quality even if they are magnified up to nine times.

This optical zoom lens module also promises a flat rear camera. LG is doing this because, recently, cellphones that have camera features like this have a bulge on the rear camera due to embedding in the shape of the camera module.

So, learning from past experience, LG is evaluating this to prioritize user comfort.

On the other hand, LG will place this camera module in a series of cellphones with chips made by Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

As additional information, the latest cell phones have two ways to enlarge the camera. The first is digital zoom combined with artificial intelligence, and the second is a telephoto lens with actuators. This serves to change the focal length of the lens.

Cellphones with actuator telephoto lenses are characterized by a bump on the rear camera. This is due to the camera module requiring a wide space and the presence of moving components.
